Queenscliff, NSWGenerally you can’t. A person’s clothes collection tends to expand to fill, or overfill, any wardrobe cupboard design. With a good design, we will maximise the amount of clothes you can fit in a given space but when space is at a premium the client must choose which are the clothes they need close at hand. Often, an out-of-season wardrobe in a nearby room is used to provide additional space.
Custom made wardrobe doors are generally either satin polyurethane paint, timber veneer, laminate or undercoated (to be painted after installation). Polyurethane or undercoated doors can be routed with simple or ornate patterns. We also do aluminium-framed glass doors where you can choose from a range of colours and frostings.
White high-density, moisture resistant melamine with a 2mm ABS edge is the most cost-effective but more luxurious surfaces are selected when budget allows. These commonly include timber-grained laminate, polyurethane paint or timber veneer.
Yes we do, most projects we work on are over $10,000. In certain circumstances we will work on smaller projects.
You can choose from a selection of handles in our showroom or from the websites of selected suppliers that our designers will give you. Alternatively, if you can’t decide at the design stage, you can supply the handles and we will fit them for you. Routed handles are also very effective.
It depends on the client’s needs and budgetfor the built in or walk in robe design. At the top-end, we use a lot of Blum soft-close runners, ranging through to ball bearing runners and nylon runners.
We use LED lighting wherever we can in built in and designer walk in robe fit outs; either LED channel-lighting (where a strip of LED lights is set into a channel we machine into a panel) or LED spotlights can be used.
There are no hard rules here but generally we do not do repairs or re-fits to existing cabinetry made by other cabinet makers.
